  • RIP Brother Garland Ruff

    Garland Edward age 74 of Fairfield passed away on February 22, 2013 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1938 in Bedford, VA to Odie and Lelia Ruff. He is the beloved husband of Edna (nee Green); devoted father of William (Colleen) Ruff, Dennis (Janice) Ruff, and Pamela (Glenn) Howell; grandfather of 6; great grandfather of 6. Garland is also survived by his brothers William, Roger, Danny, Earl, and Tommy; sisters Myrtly and Dorothy. Garland served his country in the 101st Airborne division of the Army. He was also an electrician and a member of IBEW #648; owned and operated Ruff Tree Service. Visitation will be Wednesday February 27, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Condolences may be given at www.avancefuneralhome.com We will update as soon as we find out what time IBEW services will be held.
