I want to personally thank all of you for your votes on Issue 2! All across this great state working people told the Republican Administration of the state “No” to their union busting attempts. Unions stood together for their beliefs in the middle class and that everyone has the right to bargain collectively for wages, benefits and safety conditions. Republicans were attempting to start the biggest anti-union campaign in this country to drive down wages of working people for the benefits of big business. I would like to thank the volunteers that had helped with phone banking, going door to door and working the polling locations. I want to say a special thank you to brother Joe Keller who donated his time and spent many days, nights and weekends the last couple of weeks to help organized labor across the state. Always remember, when labor stands together, we can accomplish our goals for the working people of this country. Enjoy your Thanksgiving Holiday, Give Thanks for what you have and be safe! See you at the next regular monthly meeting December 7th, 2011.
