IBEW Local 648 mourns the loss of Brother Bill Patton, who passed away on Saturday, April 7th, 2012. Brother Patton was initiated into the IBEW on December 1st, 1969. Bill was employed by the City of Hamilton as a Journeyman Lineman. IBEW Services will be held for Brother Patton on Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at the Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio 45122. Visitation is from 10-12 with IBEW Services at 11:50. MAY GOD BLESS BROTHER BILL PATTON, his family, and many friends.

IBEW Local 648 mourns the loss of Brother Marcus Napier, who passed away Saturday, March 31st at the age of 80. Marcus was initiated into Local 648 on April 1st, 1959, making Brother Napier a 53 year member of Local 648. IBEW Services will be held on Thursday, April 5th @ 1:00 pm at the Ivey Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton, Ohio 45015. MAY GOD BLESS BROTHER MARCUS NAPIER, his family, and many friends.

IBEW 4th DISTRICT STORY ON MIRACLE LEAGUE FIELD

| | For the last five years plans have been taking shape and funding has been accumulating for the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields part of the Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund. There are approximately 200 Handicap Baseball Leagues across the United States that give Handicap Adults and Youth the opportunity to play sports at specially designed facilities. When Miracle League Fields are completed southwest Ohio will have one of the premier facilities in the nation with two fields. Ground was broken December 28, 2011 on property donated by the city of Fairfield Ohio, materials are being supplied by numerous local companies and volunteer workers from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 648 Hamilton Ohio, The Operating Engineers IUOE Local 18, and The Laborers Local 534 have the project on track for a June 10th ribbon cutting celebration and an Opening Day game scheduled to be played on July 28th. IBEW Local 648 Electricians have already installed approximately 9000 feet of conduit and there will be close to five miles of electric cabling at the end of project completion. Lighting for the facility will be LED and is being donated by LSI Lighting, a nine by fifteen foot LED Video and Scoreboard will provide Stats and Camera Shots for both fields. |

IBEW Local 648 mourns the loss of Brother Ralph Irwin who passed away on Sunday March 4, 2012. Brother Irwin was initiated into Local 648 on August 5, 1942, making Ralph a 69 year member. IBEW services will be held at Weigel Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ohio. MAY GOD BLESS BROTHER RALPH IRWIN, HIS FAMILY, AND MANY FRIENDS. Weigel Funeral Home 980 NW Washington BLVD. Hamilton, Ohio 45013 Thursday, March 8, 2012 Visitation 9:30am - 11:30am IBEW Services will start at 11:00 am Funeral Home asks that if you do not plan on going to the cemetary please park across the street to leave room for those attending graveside services.

IBEW Local 648 Annual Fish Fry Will be held Friday, March 23rd Beginning @ 6:30 pm Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and canned food for the needy Fish, Salads, and Drinks will be provided Hope to see you on March 23rd for good food and great fellowship
