Local 648 Golf League- The league will start mid to late April and we will play on Monday evenings. Tee times will be approx. from 4 - 4:30. We need players and if you are interested please call the hall.

IBEW Local 648 members got the chance to have breakfast with former Red Sean Casey at Bob Evans in Fairfield. Sean was in town to show his support and appreciation to all the volunteers who have helped with construction for the Joe Nuxhall Miracle Fields. IBEW Local 648 is proud to support the construction and operation of the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields that are located at 4850 Groh Lane in Fairfield, Ohio. Work is well under way with the underground conduit for the electric service, temporary electric service, and parking lot lights being installed. IBEW Local 648, along with local NECA contractors are providing all materials and donating labor for the project. If you are interested in helping with the project, please call the Union Hall and join the cause. IBEW Local 648 mourns the loss of Brother Joe Tabler, who passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the age of 64. Joe was initiated into Local 648 on February 1, 1972. Brother Tabler had a 31 year career for Local 648 before his retirement. MAY GOD BLESS BROTHER JOE TABLER, his family, and his many friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. No IBEW services are planned.
